After nearly a month of travelling in Asia in a range of vehicles: bikes, taxis, tuk-tuks, an ancient Toyota Crown, metal open taxis, minibus, jumbos, buses, rót daang, and even an elephant, all in a variety of conditions and cleanliness (especially the elephant), it was then rather nice to be picked up and safely driven from Siem Reap airport to the Park Hyatt in a chauffeur-driven, shiny, clean, new BMW …….. And a repeat journey at the end of our holiday back to the airport.
