Amazing Alberta

I didn’t have time to type a blog when we were in Canada; we were too busy going “oooh” and “aaah” and “wow”. Very soon after Rodney and I had arrived in England, we flew out again with big brother Neil. I had discovered Hansen relatives in and around Calgary, so we had a darn good reason to take Neil over there for a meet-up and add on a grand tour to Banff, Lake Louise, The Icefields Parkway and Jasper. I had hoped and prayed for good weather and apart from a lttle bit of grey, we were incredibly lucky. There was more snow still on the ground than we had expected but the roads were clear and brilliant to drive on. It was a stunningly beautiful trip through Alberta.
