We\u2019ve had a request for more action and less flowers, but we\u2019re afraid there\u2019s still more flowers than action\u2026.and here\u2019s some rape to show you how pretty the fields look at the moment in England.<\/p>\n

We did spend two hours on Monday evening watching our niece, Honor and the Tetbury Gymnastics club practising for competitions.\u00a0 We thought we would drop her off, stop for 10 minutes and then nip up to a nice pub, before going back to pick her up.\u00a0 But there was so much action going on in the gym, we ended up staying the whole 2 hours!<\/p>\n

On the way to the Cotswolds we stopped off in Burford.\u00a0 It\u2019s a lovely Cotswolds village with lots of wonderful old stone\u00a0buildings. Not a lot of action there, but we had a nice pumpkin soup for lunch.\u00a0 This was followed up by a very satisfying roast chicken dinner, courtesy of my sister, Candice.\u00a0 I can highly recommend her paprika sprinkled, oven baked swede, sounds weird, but is\u00a0really tasty!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still no sign of the registration papers in today\u2019s mail, so we\u2019re still waiting.\u00a0 Hopefully they\u2019ll arrive sometime in the next week and then we can head off.\u00a0 It\u2019s only 100 days until the start of the London Olympics and we have to be back in England then, as we have tickets for the handball, beach volleyball and athletics.\u00a0 The time we have available to spend in France is getting shorter and shorter, but after the Olympics we can always go back there again.\u00a0 Although, if the weather looks like being nice here, we might just tour England and Scotland instead.<\/p>\n

Rodney has informed me today that \u201cwe\u2019ll be roughing it a bit\u201d when we move in to the campervan.\u00a0 Dang!\u00a0\u00a0 I was hoping to be doing it with a bit of style.\u00a0 However, looking at the state of our home today, I think Eileen has been hanging around too long waiting for us start our travels\u2026\u2026.<\/p>\n
