it was a shame we couldn&#8217;t stay longer.\u00a0 We ate dinner early so that we could go for an evening walk down to the beach; one of my favourite occupations.\u00a0 It was a lovely evening and we had just enough time before sunset, to walk to the far end of the bay at Abersoch.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2543\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2543\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2543\" src=\"https:\/\/www.petersphotogallery.com\/rodneyandlaura\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/DSC00482-800x524.jpg\" alt=\"The view across St Tudwal's Bay from below the campsite\" width=\"800\" height=\"524\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.petersphotogallery.com\/rodneyandlaura\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/DSC00482-800x524.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.petersphotogallery.com\/rodneyandlaura\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/DSC00482-800x524-300x196.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.petersphotogallery.com\/rodneyandlaura\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/DSC00482-800x524-600x393.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.petersphotogallery.com\/rodneyandlaura\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/DSC00482-800x524-150x98.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.petersphotogallery.com\/rodneyandlaura\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/DSC00482-800x524-96x62.jpg 96w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2543\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The view across St Tudwal&#8217;s Bay from below the campsite<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">There were more beach huts here, though not quite as colourful as the ones at Llanbedrog Beach, but somehow they had more character in their higgledy piggledy fashion.\u00a0 It was a lovely stroll and on the way back the sky started to turn a gorgeous shade of pink.\u00a0 Rodney rescued a tiny silver fish that was unhappily flipping about on the sand, I was very proud of him, but then twenty paces further on, there were a dozen fish that had grounded themselves.\u00a0 He rescued them all, throwing back into the sea.\u00a0 Then another twenty paces or more, there were loads of them gasping and tossing themselves about. &#8216;Saint&#8217; and ate lunch parked right next to the Menai Strait, a pretty spot we had noticed when we were standing at the top of one of the towers of Caernafon Castle on Wednesday.\u00a0 We then strolled in to Caernafon to find a much needed\u00a0bank and wandered back to Eileen before driving up to the Britannia Bridge and crossing the strait to Anglesey.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure side and crossed over to Holy Island.\u00a0 We passed through Holyhead which was larger than we expected and then drove around the north side of the island and down the west side to Trearddur Bay.\u00a0 We checked in to Tyn Rhos Camping Site, set up the van for the night and then walked back in to Trearddur along the very rocky bays and across the small beaches.\u00a0 very lonely place with nobody about and many of the houses all shut up; obviously holiday homes with no-one in residence.\u00a0 It was difficult to imagine it, on a warm day in the summer, full of holidaymakers.\u00a0 We&#8217;ll investigate a little further in the morning on the way back to Anglesey, there must be someone living here.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure
