{"id":581,"date":"2012-05-31T21:43:52","date_gmt":"2012-05-31T20:43:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.petersphotogallery.com\/rodneyandlaura\/?p=581"},"modified":"2025-11-23T05:35:23","modified_gmt":"2025-11-23T05:35:23","slug":"anniversary-and-hats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.petersphotogallery.com\/rodneyandlaura\/2012\/05\/31\/anniversary-and-hats\/","title":{"rendered":"Anniversary Caves And A Hat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>No hangover, phew&#8230;., but we did have a bit of a lie in to get our anniversary off to a good start.<\/p>\n<p>The cycle ride in to Les Eyzies-de-Tayac was fun.\u00a0 The cycle path\/walkway on the bridge over the river was laid out like a roller coaster, three ups and three downs and a lovely view to right and left.\u00a0 We cycled through the village and 2.5km out to the Grottes des Combarelles, only to discover we needed to buy the tickets 2kms back towards the village at the Grotte de Font-de-Gaume.\u00a0 So we cycled back to the ticket office and were told that all tickets for today had already been sold.
