Bull"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At 1:30am, a huge wind blew over Eileen, waking us both suddenly from our sleep.\u00a0 We leapt out of bed and closed the skylight and the hatches and then lay there chatting and listening to the howling noise outside.\u00a0 Rodney tried to tell me about the different winds around the world but in our sleepy state neither of us could remember many of them.<\/p>\n<p>With rain jackets on again, we strolled around the Quartier Sainte Croix in Oleron Sainte Marie and while standing on the Promenade Bellevue we wished the clouds would go away so that we could see the view of the snow-capped Pyrennees.\u00a0 Ah well, I guess we\u2019ll just have to come back here again one day.<\/p>\n<p>We then drove north through the centre of Pau and past a convoy of gypsies creating traffic problems for the police.\u00a0 We were very glad to be going in the opposite direction from them.\u00a0 We pulled in to Nogora which sounds Japanese to me, but definitely wasn\u2019t because we had our picnic outside the bullring.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_723\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-723\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption id=\"caption-attachment-723\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The bullring at Nogaro<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Finally, we pulled in to the Camping Brouquere on a lovely vine covered hillside outside Gondrin.\u00a0 We\u2019ve read our books, relaxed in the sunshine (which arrived mid afternoon) and we\u2019ll sit down to a dinner of shepherd&#8217;s pie and veggies in a minute, carefully prepared by my lovely husband while I sat and blogged.\u00a0 I definitely won\u2019t trade him in just yet!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At 1:30am, a
